Joyce Laporte is a member of the Fond Du Lac tribe and an elder, artist, and prominent community member. Her artworks include faceless dolls which are made from deer buckskin, beads and real hair.  Her faceless dolls have been in many galleries and stores throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
